Daymer Bay Beach

Polzeath North Cornwall
Daymer Bay is in the mouth of the Camel Estuary, this is an excellent spot for swimming, windsurfing, boating or canoeing. The wide beach is very sheltered and at high tide you can walk out into the sea for some way before it comes up to your waist. This beach also provides a view out to The 'Doom Bar', a sand bank at the mouth of the Camel Estuary which has presented a hazard to sailors for centuries and protects the estuary from forces of the Atlantic. This is an ideal location for children to spend the day.
