Feock

Feock Truro South Cornwall
Feock is a beautiful example of a picture perfect Cornish village with its winding country lanes lined with thatched cottages and pretty flowers. Situated just 5 miles south of the Capital City of Truro in south Cornwall, the village of Feock overlooks the tranquil waters of Carrick Roads, Restronguet Creek and Fal River in the far distance.

Feock village is only a brief walk away from Loe beach, a popular destination for water sports and a lovely place to sit and enjoy the natural surroundings. There's a pub in the village and the old phone box has been turned into a handy book swap, showing the sense of community in this lovely village. There is a post office and general store with a choice of farm shops and supermarkets located in Truro. The Church of St Feoca is an attractive building with the Church Tower and Font being built in the 13th Century.

Trelissick Garden owned by the National Trust is nearby and has plenty of activities for the whole family to enjoy. The thriving maritime town of Falmouth is a 10 mile drive away with plenty of beautiful villages to explore on the way such as Mylor, Flushing and Mylor Bridge. You can cross the river on the King Harry Ferry by foot or car taking you to Philleigh on the Roseland Peninsula, offering easy access to this picturesque area of Cornwall.
