Known to the Romans as Belevian, or 'Seat of Storms', legendary Lands End marks the westernmost point of Britain. It's an awe-inspiring place, where 200 ft high cliffs hold back the powerful Atlantic breakers. There are exhibition halls, play areas and working craft shops here, along with the unmissable Lost Labyrinth - a light and sound experience that relates the amazing story of Lands End. From Lands End, there are views to the Longships reef and its lighthouse, a mile offshore; on the horizon lie the Isles of Scilly and in between according to legend, is the lost land of Lyonesse.
