Siblyback Lake is situated on the edge of Bodmin Moor offering a perfect lake location to enjoy a number of land and water based activities including:
  • Cable Wakeboarding
  • Kayaking
  • Windsurfing
  • Sailing
  • High Ropes
  • Archery
  • Climbing
  • Cycling
  • Walking
  • Archery
The new Cable Wakeboarding System is the only clockwise cable system in the UK and the first system in Devon and Cornwall! A full range of facilities are on offer including professional tuition, pro clinics and a variety of obstacles for the more advanced riders. SW Wakeboarding also offers open practice, equipment hire, junior sessions and much more!

The system is an amazing addition to the huge range of activities already available at Siblyback Outdoor & Active. Cornwall is a haven for watersports enthusiasts and cable wakeboarding is a great introduction. It is also an easy transition from other water-based sports, for no wind and no wave days.

For those who to stay out off of the water, you can swing like a monkey from the treetops on the 40 foot high challenging course for all ages. Individuals, families and groups can tackle challenges and obstacles raised high above the ground in an adrenaline filled
activity led by fully qualified instructors. There is also a climbing wall where you can practice your skills, or you can even try some archery! Indoor and outdoor facilities are available where groups and individuals can learn or practice this relaxing sport.

Siblyback Lake has an attractive foot and cycle path following the shorelines of the lake, meandering through woodland in places. The path enables wheelchair access around the entire lake. For a more ambitious walk, the path also links in to public footpaths. There's also a wealth of wildlife to watch and discover, with a bird hide for observation. There is also a children's play area and a cafe which offers a delicious range of light lunches, meals, desserts, locally made cakes, gluten-free alternatives, hot and cold drinks and Kelly's ice cream.

If you enjoy a relaxing days fishing then you will be happy to know that Siblyback is a popular premier fishery and is regularly stocked with Rainbow Trout up to 8lb. We extend a warm welcome to all trout anglers, whether beginner or expert and there is a fleet of six angling boats as well as a wheelyboat for disabled anglers.
