Talland Bay Beach

Looe South Cornwall
Talland Bay is a breathtakingly beautiful sheltered cove, situated between the popular fishing ports of Looe and Polperro in south east Cornwall.

There are two small, mainly shingle beaches at Talland Bay, each with a small car park and a cafe. Being in a sheltered cove, Talland Bay is an ideal spot for swimming and kayaking, with the crystal clear waters also making it a great spot for snorkeling. There are rocks to climb, rock pools and natural plunge pools to explore on the beaches, as well as plenty of birds and wildlife to enjoy in this tranquil spot.

There are two cafe's at Talland Bay, the Smugglers Rest and The Beach Cafe, both offering refreshment with beautiful views across the bay and out to sea.

Undoubtedly one of the biggest attractions at Talland Bay, aside from the tranquility, is the coastal path, with Looe being approximately 3 miles to the east, and Polperro being approximately 1.5 miles to the west. The views from the coast path here are second to none, with the reward of either village/town being at the end of your walk.

Easy, cross the road from the car park and you arrive at the start of the beach. Please note the lane access to Talland Bay is very narrow.

Two small car parks opposite entrance to each beach
