Trebarwith Strand Beach

Trebarwith Strand Tintagel North Cornwall
Trebarwith Strand beach is a beautiful cove tucked away below a wooded valley in north Cornwall, only two miles from Tintagel and five miles from Boscastle. The beach itself is distinctive with its natural rock path leading down onto the beach which is only accessible at low tide.

Covered in quartz lined rock pools with many caves to explore and its long stretch of golden sand make this a lovely beach to spend a day with the family. There's great swell here meaning it can be popular with experienced surfers but please be aware of the incoming tide times as the beach becomes completely cut off.

Gull rock, a huge striking rock formation sits magnificently just out to sea. There are two charming pubs in the tiny Trebarwith Strand village, one of which with stunning views of the cliffs and ocean. There are a handful of cafes and shops selling ice creams and beach toys.

Medium, a short walk down the hill from the car park to the beach, you walk across a fairly smooth natural rocky path to access the beach.

Two car parks are available close to the beach
